The PIN adds funds to your Bell prepaid account, which cover your services and add-ons each month. Bell states that its prepaid plans do not include U.S. or international roaming and that the service will not work outside of Canada.
Bell sets the expiry by the card's value, starting at 30 days for a 15 dollar card, 60 days for 25 and for 50 dollars, and 365 days for 100 dollars. Bell states that if you add funds to your account before the expiry date you will be able to carry over your unused minutes.
In the MyBell app, touch Balance at the bottom of the screen and your balance and account details are displayed. On the MyBell website, sign in and open your prepaid account.
If you miss the expiry date, your unused minutes can be restored if you top up within seven days. Bell also notes that if you are late topping up your account, it will take up to 30 minutes before your device will be ready to use again.
