This ZAR Prepaid Fuel Card is a physical card that allows South African users to make payments at any brand of fuel station in the country.

This Fuel Card only works for fuel payments, it will not work at the petrol station shop or for any other products. It works at all brands within South Africa, for Rand based payments.

Important notes:

- This is a physical card, which will take up to a week to be delivered. It will be sent to your nearest Postnet store

- Activation and delivery of your new card costs R200 which will be deducted from your voucher purchased

This is a regular Fuel Card, not a brand-specific voucher.

All fuel stations use point of sale devices registered for fuel purchases, as required by the banks. The Fuel Card is only eligible for use on those devices, normally the ones which are managed by the petrol attendants.

Thus the card is not linked to any brand but rather restricted for use at these point of sale machines which are standard across all fuel stations.

This is also the reason why the card will not work in the shop or for other products such as gas refills - the shop POS device is not registered for the sale of fuel

The Fuel Card comes with a pin for confirming purchases as with any other regular card product - please record your pin when you receive it via Postnet. You will need this pin for any purchases of R500 or more. Purchases of under R500 will be approved via tap-to-pay

Prepaid Fuel Card does not accept crypto but Bitrefill provides a workaround by allowing you to purchase an Prepaid Fuel Card gift card with Bitcoin or another cryptocurrency. This gift card can then be used to make purchases at Prepaid Fuel Card.
