Products Not Eligible for Purchase

• Cigarettes
• Trash bags
• Prepaid services (parcel delivery, lottery, Sports Toto, transportation cards, etc.)
• Shinsegae, Geumgang Shoes, or cultural gift certificates
• Utility bills, tax payments, and other consignment items

Usage Restrictions

• Gift certificates cannot be exchanged for cash
• Certificates received from corporate events or promotions are non-refundable and non-exchangeable
• Certificates cannot be used after the expiration date
• If a specific location or usage date is indicated, the gift certificate is only valid for that place or date
• If specific usage conditions are noted, they must be met to use the certificate

Refund Policy

• Corporate or promotional gift certificates are not eligible for refunds
• If a refund is requested before the original expiration date, the purchaser receives 100% of the value
• If a refund is requested after the original expiration date, the recipient receives 90% of the value
• For gift certificates over 10,000 KRW, 60% must be used to qualify for a refund
• For gift certificates under 10,000 KRW, 80% must be used to qualify
• Cash refunds cannot be issued at CU stores – contact the Customer Service Center to apply

Balance Check

• Ask any CU store staff member to check your balance
• The balance is also printed on your purchase receipt
