A Sun Direct recharge tops up the balance on your subscriber account, and your base package and any add-on packs are paid from that balance. Sun Direct's published pack prices exclude tax, which is payable in addition, and the base package has to stay active for you to hold any add-on.
For billing purposes Sun Direct counts one month as thirty days. It sells the same language pack at one, three, six and twelve month durations, each at its own price.
Sign in to your Sun Direct account with your registered mobile number, smart card number or CR-ID to see your account details. Sun Direct does not publish a balance-check code or an SMS keyword anywhere on its website.
When there is not enough balance at the monthly renewal, Sun Direct activates the lower-value add-ons first, in ascending order of value. Add-ons renew every month for as long as the balance covers them, and switching one off means calling Sun Direct's call centre.
You buy the recharge on Bitrefill and pay with crypto, or with a credit or debit card from Visa, Mastercard, American Express or another card issuer. Apple Pay and Google Pay are supported as well. These non-crypto methods are only available in specific regions, and phone refills are not one of the categories Bitrefill excludes from them.
Sun Direct runs a 24x7 helpline. It publishes a toll free number, 1800 123 7575, alongside a helpline on 7601012345, and takes questions by email at customercare@sundirect.in.
Sun Direct DTH does not accept crypto, but you can top up your smartphone on Bitrefill using Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies.
A mobile airtime top-up should be added to a phone number within a few seconds to minutes. Sometimes, there may be a small delay on the part of the mobile operator, but rest assured, we will send you an email confirmation as soon as your top-up has been processed successfully.
