Definitions  UGift Voucher: A prepaid instrument (electronic or physical) that can be redeemed for goods and services, at participating outlets.  Holder: The person in possession of the voucher.  Issuer: The company that issues UGift vouchers.  Merchant/Partner: Approved outlets that accept UGift vouchers. 
  2. Acceptance of Terms  Use or redemption of a UGift voucher constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions. 
  3. Eligibility  UGift vouchers can be purchased or received by individuals or businesses.  Users may be required to comply with applicable Ghanaian laws, including identification requirements where necessary (e.g., for cash redemption). 
  4. Voucher Types  Electronic Vouchers (e-vouchers): Delivered digitally via SMS, email, or app.  Physical Vouchers: Printed vouchers/cards.  Issuer reserves the right to determine formats and features. 
  5. Validity Period  Each voucher is valid for a specified period indicated at issuance (1-2years) unless configured otherwise.  Expired vouchers cannot be redeemed or refunded unless otherwise stated.  The issuer may (at its discretion) allow extensions subject to fees. 
  6. Redemption  Vouchers can be redeemed at participating merchants nationwide.  Redemption may include:   Goods   services  Partial redemption may be allowed; remaining balance stays valid until expiry.  Merchants reserve the right to verify voucher authenticity before acceptance. 
  7. Restrictions  Vouchers are non-transferable for cash resale unless authorized.  Cannot be used for illegal or prohibited transactions.  May not be combined with other promotions unless explicitly stated. 
  8. Loss, Theft, or Damage  UGift vouchers are treated like cash:   Lost or stolen vouchers will not be replaced  Customers are encouraged to safeguard vouchers  
  9. Fraud and Misuse  The issuer reserves the right to:   Suspend or cancel vouchers suspected of fraud or misuse.  Report suspicious activities to authorities.  Users must not duplicate, alter, or tamper with vouchers. 
  10. Refunds and Cancellation  Vouchers are generally non-refundable.  Exceptions may be considered at issuer’s discretion or required by law.  Corporate clients may have separate contractual refund terms. 
  11. Merchant Participation  Participating outlets may change without notice.  Issuer is not responsible for:   Quality of goods/services provided by merchants  Merchant refusal due to technical or operational issues (though remedies may be offered) 
  12. Liability  Issuer is not liable for:   Losses due to misuse, theft, or unauthorized redemption  Merchant service issues  Liability is limited to the value of the voucher unless otherwise required by law.   
  13. Data Protection & Privacy  Personal data collected will be used in accordance with Ghana’s Data Protection Act (Act 843).  Customer information may be used for:   Verification  Transaction processing  Fraud prevention  Data will not be shared without consent, except as required by law. 
  14. Modification of Terms  The issuer reserves the right to modify these terms at any time.  Updated terms will be published on official channels (website/app).
