Esso and Mobil does not accept crypto but Bitrefill provides a workaround by allowing you to purchase an Esso and Mobil gift card with Bitcoin or another cryptocurrency. This gift card can then be used to make purchases at Esso and Mobil.

  1. Enter the amount you want the Esso and Mobil gift card to have.
  2. Choose the cryptocurrency you want to use for payment, such as Bitcoin, Bitcoin Lightning, Ethereum, USDT, USDC, Litecoin, Dogecoin or Dash. Alternatively you can pay using Binance Pay.
  3. Once your payment is confirmed, you will get your Esso and Mobil gift card code.

Once you have purchased an Esso and Mobil gift card at Bitrefill, it will be emailed to you almost instantly. Or you can redeem the gift card directly from the checkout page.

Works really well. You can add the gift card in the Esso App and use it to pay for gas or anything at the gas station. If you want to use it without the app, I recommend to print the gift card and pay with it at the counter. Sometimes, if you add it to Apple Pay, it does not work properly at the counter.

**You need to add the gift card to the Speedpass+ app and use it from there.** Even though the balance shows up when you check online, the attendant couldn’t get the gift card to work, even at multiple Esso locations. Try using the Speedpass+ app.

Easy to use at the gas station. Walk in to the attendant, show them their gift card and tell them the nozzle number, refill your tank.
