A Data Top-Up is used alongside a service plan during a plan cycle, and it is applied only after you have used all the data allotted under that plan. H2O publishes two Data Top-Up tiers: 2 GB for $10 and 5 GB for $20.
Topped up data stays available through your plan cycles until it is used completely or your service expires, so a data pack adds data inside a cycle you already have rather than renewing service. If the monthly plan expires or is cancelled, unused topped up data is forfeited.
Text the word bal to 327986787 from the phone and H2O replies with the remaining balance, or sign in at h2owireless.com/my-account. H2O also says you can check your allotment balances free of charge by dialling 611 from the device.
If your balance reaches zero and you do not recharge within 30 days of the end of your last purchased recharge cycle, H2O cancels the account and you lose your number. H2O sends daily reminders starting five days before the expiry date, and a reactivation charge may apply.
You buy the refill on Bitrefill and pay with crypto, or with a credit or debit card from Visa, Mastercard, American Express or another card issuer. Apple Pay and Google Pay are supported as well. These non-crypto methods are only available in specific regions, and phone refills are not one of the categories Bitrefill excludes from them.

H2O USA Data does not accept crypto, but you can top up your smartphone on Bitrefill using Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies.
